AdvantPlay: slot and instant-game studio with PAGCOR-approved titles

AdvantPlay is a B2B studio making video slots and a small set of provably fair instant games. PAGCOR’s March 2026 approved-games list names 52 of its titles; its founding year is given as 2020 by trade press and 2023 by the studio.

The studio

Who AdvantPlay are

AdvantPlay describes itself as a B2B studio producing slots and ‘originals’, with art, maths and engineering handled in-house by a fully remote team. Its website says the portfolio passed 70 slots and originals in 2026 and that its games are live with more than 5,000 operators through licensed partners. Neither figure has been independently checked.

The founding date is unclear. A 2024 SiGMA News article and the SlotCatalog database both give 2020, while the studio’s own About page reads ‘Est. 2023’ and describes a six-person team shipping its first slot that year. Slot databases list AdvantPlay releases from 2022, such as Disco 777, which does not sit easily with a 2023 start.

The catalogue leans on Asian and pop-culture themes, with titles such as Mahjong Roar, Cai Shen Fortune, Xiang Qi Ways 2, Squid Game 2: Mukunghwa and Labubu: Fall in Wild, alongside Aztec, Maya and Egyptian slots. A separate line, AP Originals, has nine provably fair instant games: Mines, Dice, Gem Tower, Limbo, Plinko, Crash, Pump, Coin and Keno.

The IGP catalogue carries 63 AdvantPlay titles.

What makes it different

What the studio is built around

What public sources say about how AdvantPlay positions its games.

Southeast Asian focus

SiGMA News reported in 2024 that AdvantPlay had a strong foothold in Southeast Asia and was looking at Latin America, the CIS and Africa. Titles such as Mahjong Roar, Xiang Qi Ways 2 and Kingyo Riches fit that focus.

Provably fair originals

Alongside slots, the AP Originals range has nine instant games (Mines, Dice, Gem Tower, Limbo, Plinko, Crash, Pump, Coin, Keno) that the studio says use SHA-256 seed and nonce verification.

Sequels and series

Many titles come in pairs on PAGCOR’s list: Aztec: Bonus Hunt and Bonus Hunt 2, Buffalo Rush and Buffalo Rush Highroller, Maya: Elemental Totem and its sequel, and Disco 777 with a Hold and Win version.

Where it runs

Markets and licensing

Philippines: PAGCOR’s Electronic Gaming Licensing Department publishes a list of approved electronic games for ‘Gamesphere Solutions, Inc. / AdvantPlay’. The version dated 19 March 2026 names 52 titles, including Aztec: Bonus Hunt, Mahjong Roar and Firefly Hunter. Gamesphere Solutions describes itself as a Manila-based, PAGCOR-licensed aggregator and content provider; neither company explains the arrangement publicly.

We could not find a gaming licence held in AdvantPlay’s own name, and its website names neither a legal entity nor a testing laboratory. SiGMA News reported in 2024 that the studio was submitting games to GLI and BMM, and SlotCatalog lists a GLI certificate from 2021. Neither claim was checked against a laboratory register.

The studio’s About page says it has integrations across Europe, Latin America and Asia (company-stated).

Licences and certificates

  • No licence in AdvantPlay’s own name found
  • GLI and BMM testing: reported in 2024, not verified
  • Provably fair verification on AP Originals (company-stated)

We found no licence in AdvantPlay’s own name. PAGCOR’s list of approved electronic games, dated 19 March 2026, includes 52 AdvantPlay titles under Gamesphere Solutions, Inc. Reports of GLI and BMM testing come from third parties and were not verified.

Sources disagree. A 2024 SiGMA News article and SlotCatalog give 2020; the studio’s own site says it was established in 2023. Slot databases list AdvantPlay releases from 2022.
