Air Dice is a Helsinki games company founded in 2005 and built around dice games, now at the head of a group with three studios. Its Finnish and UK companies hold UK Gambling Commission licences, which we checked on the public register.

Who Air Dice are
Air Dice was founded in Helsinki in 2005 by Peter, Sami and Teemu, according to the company. It now sits at the centre of the Air Dice Group, whose global CEO is Sami Mäkinen, and which says it employs more than 70 people across six regional offices.
The group has three game studios: Air Dice itself, Dice Crafter (founded in 2014 in Oulu as an offshoot of LudoCraft) and Probability Jones (founded in 2016 and known for scratch games). It also owns two retail businesses, Bingo Booster Nordics and the UK supplier Boomerang Digital. Several titles released under the Air Dice name, including Gorilla Duels and Book of Bloodlines, are made by Dice Crafter.
Dice games are central to the company’s identity; it says it built its dice range for the Belgian online casino market. Its portfolio also covers video slots, bingo and number games. The IGP catalogue lists 81 Air Dice titles.

We checked the UK Gambling Commission public register in September 2026: Air Dice Oy (account 34512, Helsinki) holds an active remote gambling software licence dating from February 2015, and Air Dice Services (UK) Limited (account 52704) holds active gambling software and remote casino game host licences dating from November 2018.
Company-stated, not checked by us: a Malta Gaming Authority B2B critical gaming supply licence, MGA/B2B/864/2021, held by Air Dice Services Malta Ltd, and a Belgian Gaming Commission E licence, E-538719, held by Air Dice Services Benelux. The MGA register could not be searched. A 2025 company announcement also lists approvals in Sweden, Ontario and Greece.
