Games Global: the home of Mega Moolah and the Microgaming catalogue

Games Global owns the Microgaming game IP and distribution business it acquired in 2022. It supplies 1,300+ proprietary games from a network of 42 studios, plus the wide-area jackpot network behind Mega Moolah.

Who Games Global are

Start with the name, because it is the single most confusing thing about this supplier. Games Global was established in 2021 and in 2022 acquired Microgaming’s distribution business and game IP. Microgaming agreed the sale of its Quickfire distribution business in November 2021 and the deal completed in early May 2022.

What that means today: Microgaming no longer supplies operators. The games, the IP and the distribution relationships are Games Global’s. Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II and the rest of that heritage catalogue sit with Games Global now. Directories listing Microgaming and Games Global as two separate current suppliers are double-counting the same content.

The business is both a developer and a distributor. It publishes more than 1,300 proprietary games across 42 in-house and partnered studios, and supplies slots, table games, progressive jackpots, crash games and live casino — the live side under the OnAir Entertainment brand.

One inconsistency worth flagging: the company’s homepage metadata says thousands of titles from 50+ studio partners, while its dated September 2026 press boilerplate says 1,300+ games and 42 studios. We use the dated figure, but do not treat either as settled.

The games

Games Global and Microgaming-heritage titles

The current franchises are dated where trade press dates them. The heritage titles carry no dates because neither Games Global nor the old Microgaming site publishes release years.

TitleReleasedWhat it is
Bass Cash 100020 Aug 2026Entry in the Bass Cash series built around a 1,000x multiplier, developed by Alchemy Gaming
Gold Blitz—Jackpot-linked slot franchise, named in the Alberta rollout of September 2026
12 Masks of Fire—Slot franchise, also named in the Alberta rollout
Fishin’ Pots of Gold—Slot franchise in the same rollout, built on a pot-collection bonus
Mega Moolah—Safari slot with a four-tier wide-area progressive jackpot awarded through a bonus wheel. The anchor game of the jackpot network and the source of several record online payouts
Immortal Romance—243-ways slot whose Chamber of Spins bonus unlocks four different free-spin modes as it is re-triggered
Thunderstruck II—243-ways Norse slot using the same progressive Great Hall of Spins unlocking structure
Break da Bank Again—5×3 slot applying a flat multiplier to any win containing a wild
Avalon II—Quest-structured slot moving the player through several distinct bonus stages

No RTP figures are quoted. Release years are not published for the heritage catalogue, so none are invented here.

What makes it different

Jackpots as a product, and multi-studio distribution

Two things distinguish Games Global from a normal studio: it runs a jackpot network other people can rent, and it distributes 42 studios through one integration.

Wide-area progressive jackpots

A slice of each stake across many operators and many games feeds shared prize pools, triggered by an in-game bonus round rather than the paytable. Mega Moolah is the anchor game. This is the mechanic that produced the record payouts the Microgaming name is known for.

Multi-studio distribution

The direct descendant of Microgaming’s Quickfire model: Games Global publishes and distributes third-party studio output alongside its own, so one integration reaches 42 studios. For an aggregator like us it is a network inside a network.

243 ways / all-ways pays

Wins count matching symbols on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel regardless of row position, replacing fixed paylines. Long-standing across the heritage catalogue and the format Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II are built on.

OnAir Entertainment live tables

Live dealer supplied alongside the RNG portfolio under a separate brand. It means Games Global can fill a live lobby as well as a slot lobby from one relationship.

Where it runs

Where Games Global content runs

The company states it distributes to operators across regulated markets in Europe, North America and Latin America. No total market count is published.

North America is the active front. Games Global supplies Ontario, and on 7 September 2026 secured AGLC registration for Alberta, whose regulated market opened in July 2026. The Alberta rollout covers Gold Blitz, 12 Masks of Fire, Fishin’ Pots of Gold and OnAir Entertainment live tables.

Named partner confirmed in trade press: SkillOnNet, which took the jackpot network live across the UK, Sweden and Mexico in July 2026.

Licences and certifications

  • Alberta: AGLC registration secured 7 September 2026 — number not published
  • Ontario: supplies the market; AGCO registration number not published
  • HQ is not published on the pages we could reach, despite the Isle of Man being widely quoted

FAQ

Games Global — common questions

No. Microgaming’s distribution business and game IP were sold to Games Global in a deal agreed in November 2021 and completed in May 2022. The games you know as Microgaming titles — Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II — are supplied by Games Global today.

A safari-themed slot carrying a four-tier wide-area progressive jackpot, awarded through a bonus wheel rather than the paytable. A slice of every stake across every operator running it feeds the shared pools, which is how it has produced some of the largest online casino payouts on record.

Its dated September 2026 boilerplate says more than 1,300 proprietary games across 42 in-house and partnered studios. Its own homepage metadata says thousands of titles from 50+ studio partners. The two do not agree, so treat the figure as approximate.

Games Global’s live casino brand. It supplies live dealer tables alongside the RNG portfolio, so one supplier relationship covers both a slot lobby and a live lobby.

Yes — Games Global distributes its jackpot network as a product. SkillOnNet launched it across the UK, Sweden and Mexico in July 2026. It attaches network prize pools to content without the operator building jackpot infrastructure.

It names the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission in its own boilerplate, and holds Ontario and (from September 2026) Alberta registrations. It publishes no licence numbers, so request them for your market.

Not published on the pages we could reach. The Isle of Man is widely quoted on directory sites but is not confirmed by the company, so we are not stating it.
