Who Playnetic are

Playnetic describes itself as a B2B iGaming content provider. A September 2026 press release says it was founded in 2023 and publicly launched at ICE London in February 2024. Its own announcements are not consistent on this: one from May 2024 refers to a launch in early 2023, others from 2026 to a launch in January 2024.

The company says it has more than 100 staff and three in-house studios. In January 2026 it said it had released over 40 new games alongside a library of more than 100 older titles; it did not say where that older library came from. Its privacy policy names Playnetic Malta Ltd of Msida, Malta, while its terms of use name Playnetic Ltd of Limassol, Cyprus.

David Mann, previously chief executive of Swintt, became CEO in January 2026; his predecessor Dan Phillips stayed on as a non-executive director. Antonio Spallato is chief technology officer, and a September 2026 release names Kai Botha as chief commercial officer, a role Julian Borg-Barthet held in 2025.

Besides video slots, its site lists table games including baccarat, roulette, blackjack and Andar Bahar variants. The IGP catalogue carries 63 Playnetic titles.

What makes it different

What the studio is built around

Playnetic is a young provider that has spent its first years adding regulated markets and distribution deals.

Three in-house studios

Playnetic says its games come from three in-house studios, supported by content and data analytics teams that work with operators on dedicated and mass-market titles.

Slots and tables

Alongside video slots and a Hold n’ Win line (Count Catula, Jurassic Jackpots), its site lists baccarat, roulette, blackjack, Andar Bahar and Speed Hi-Lo tables.

Regulated-market roadmap

It added Sweden in 2024, then Ontario, Italy (through Microgame) and Greece in 2025, and says it gained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification in May 2026.

Where it runs

Markets and licensing

Playnetic says it holds approvals from the Malta Gaming Authority, Sweden’s Spelinspektionen (May 2024), Romania’s ONJN, Greece’s Hellenic Gaming Commission (a Category A1 suitability licence, June 2025) and a gaming-related supplier licence from the AGCO in Ontario (April 2025). It does not publish licence numbers, and we could not confirm them on regulators’ registers, so all are company-stated.

It entered Italy in March 2025 through a partnership with aggregator Microgame, which European Gaming reported gives access to more than 60 regulated Italian operators. Distribution deals reported in 2025 and 2026 include REEVO, Relax Gaming, Groove, Elantil, QTech Games, Stake and Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.
