AvatarUX: PopWins and the reels that grow as you win
AvatarUX built one mechanic and then built a studio around it. PopWins makes winning symbols burst into two, growing the reel taller and adding paylines mid-sequence — and more than 50 slots now run on it.

Who AvatarUX are
AvatarUX launched its first game in 2019 on the Yggdrasil network and has since built a catalogue of more than fifty slots around a single idea. It trades as Epic88 Limited and Epic88 Malta Limited, with offices in Birkirkara, Malta, Noida, India and Kraków, Poland — Malta is the regulated base, India the largest development site.
The idea is PopWins. When a symbol wins, it bursts and is replaced by two symbols in the same reel space. The reel gets taller, the number of active ways goes up, and the enlarged grid stays for the rest of the sequence. It is a cascade crossed with reel-height expansion, and it produces the compounding feel players chase.
CherryPop (2021) was the breakout, and the family has grown since: HippoPop, TikiPop, BountyPop, Pop O’Gold, WildPops. Variants followed — MultiPop pops several layers at once, StickyPop locks popped positions across spins.
In September 2026 the studio shipped its first engine outside the Pop family: Infinity Stacks, uncapped persistent per-cell multipliers on a 5×5 bonus grid. AvatarUX also runs its own remote gaming server, built in 2021, so it distributes directly as well as through aggregators.

Four trademarked mechanics, three of them variations on the same core idea.
PopWins
The core engine. A winning symbol pops and is replaced by two symbols in the same reel space, so the reel grows taller. Each pop adds rows and therefore active ways, and the larger grid persists for the rest of the sequence — across the whole round in free spins. Mechanically a tumble hybridised with reel expansion.
MultiPop
Several pop-splits resolve in parallel rather than one reel at a time, so a single cascade can expand multiple reels simultaneously. Faster escalation, bigger swings.
StickyPop
Popped positions lock in place and carry across subsequent spins rather than resetting. Combined with PopWins in titles like Pop O’Gold, it lets a grid build over several spins.
Infinity Stacks
New in September 2026 with Corpse Cart. Uncapped persistent per-cell multipliers on a 5×5 bonus grid — the studio’s first engine outside the Pop family in some time.

Regulated Europe by licence: Sweden since June 2023, Romania since March 2025 and a Malta recognition notice from July 2025.
