Irondog is the name IGP uses for Iron Dog Studio, a slot developer that works inside 1X2 Network. Trade press describes it as part of, or a subsidiary of, 1X2 Network, and the studio’s own web address now redirects to 1X2 Network’s product pages. 1X2 Network says it has been in business since 2002; its UK company, Football 1X2 Limited, was incorporated in June 2003 according to Companies House and is registered in Brentwood, Essex.
1X2 Network does not publish a founding year or office address for Iron Dog Studio itself. Third-party profiles give 2017 as the launch year and one slot database names Brighton, but we could not confirm either from a company or trade press source. Besides the UK company, 1X2 Network lists 1X2 Network Malta Ltd and a US entity, 1X2 Network America Inc.
The catalogue leans on repeatable series: the Strike games (Wolf Strike, Eagle Strike, Grizzly Strike), numbered Megaways titles, the Gods of Olympus line and pot-style Hold and Win games. Sequels to proven games
Eagle Strike followed Wolf Strike, which trade press called the studio’s most successful game, and Grizzly Strike followed that. 1 Million Fortunes Megaways reworked 1 Million Megaways BC, and 3 Gods of Goalympus is the fifth Gods of Olympus game.
A steady line of Megaways titles
The studio released its first Megaways slot in November 2019 and has since added titles such as Merry Megaways, Gods of Asgard Megaways and 1 Million Fortunes Megaways.
Branded Megaways for operators
Launched in July 2020, Branded Megaways lets an operator reskin a Megaways game with its own backdrop, colours and logo. By September 2020 trade press reported 14 operators live, including Betsson’s StarCasino in Italy.
Exclusive launch windows
Several releases went to one operator first: 1 Million Fortunes Megaways to White Hat Gaming and Eagle Strike to Entain in 2022, and Rum & Raiders to iGaming Group’s white-label sites, before a wider roll-out.

Licences sit with 1X2 Network’s companies rather than with a separate Iron Dog entity. The 1X2 Network website lists a Great Britain Gambling Commission licence (2266), a Malta Gaming Authority licence (MGA/CRP/635/2018) and numbered approvals in Greece, Romania, Sweden, Ontario, Michigan and Peru.
We could not open the UK Gambling Commission or MGA public registers in September 2026, so these numbers are company-stated and should be checked on the registers before relying on them. In 2020 CasinoBeats reported that Iron Dog’s games were certified for the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
Through IGP, the titles come on one API and one wallet; the operator tells IGP its markets and IGP confirms which Irondog titles can launch there.
