1X2gaming is the original studio of UK-based 1X2 Network, which dates itself to 2002 and started with virtual football. Its operating company, Football 1 x 2 Limited, holds active Gambling Commission licences under account 2266.

1X2gaming is the founding brand of 1X2 Network, which says it launched in 2002 and built its name on virtual football before growing into a multi-brand producer and aggregator. The group’s other studios are Iron Dog Studio (established 2017), Prospect Gaming and AD LUNAM (both 2023). Its press material calls it an independent UK software company.
The UK operating company is Football 1 x 2 Limited, company number 04783082, incorporated on 1 June 2003 according to Companies House. The Gambling Commission register shows the firm’s head office in Brighton. The network’s site also names 1X2 Network Malta Ltd (C 89109) and 1X2 Network America Inc.
The network says it has more than 750 titles across slots, table games, arcade games and virtual sports, and offices in the UK, Malta, Serbia, Canada, Italy and India. Kevin Reid is named as CEO in July 2026 trade coverage.

Virtual football roots

Checked: the Gambling Commission’s public register shows Football 1 x 2 Limited (account 2266) with active remote licences for gambling software (since 12 March 2015) and for casino, bingo and virtual-event hosting (since 12 June 2018). Companies House lists the company as active.
Company-stated: the network’s website lists licences in Malta (MGA/CRP/635/2018), Greece (HGC-000048-MN), Romania (ONJN 774/29.04.2022), Sweden (23Si1173), Ontario (GRSM1239738), Michigan (008068 and 008242) and Peru (PSV0253). We did not check these on the regulators’ registers. Its About page also names Quebec, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Gibraltar, Germany and the Netherlands.
Recent market entries include Denmark via Stake.dk in May 2026, where its chief product officer described 1X2 Network as a DGA-licensed provider, and Alberta in July 2026, its third Canadian province.
